Chrissy Flanigan is a former theatre director who has transitioned from a career in fine arts education while continuing to foster advocacy of the arts through various passionate pursuits. 

Chrissy's experience as an educator began in 2014 at Leander Middle School, where she served as the Theatre Director and unofficial Assistant Choir Director, lead by Julie Rhodes. They have been inseparable ever since! During her time at LMS, Chrissy also served as the Assistant Director to Glenn High School's state finalist UIL OAP in 2017.

In fall of 2017, Chrissy transitioned to an Assistant Director of Theatre position at Rouse High School, under the leadership of Stephanie Smith. During her time there, Chrissy became an integral part of the directorial team, and would go on to directly contribute to the growth and success of the department over the next five years. During her time at Rouse, Chrissy also took on the role of Auditorium Manager and Fine Arts Department Chair, championing the inclusion of Rouse Fine Arts across campus activities and initiatives.
